• How often should I change my oil? 

You should change your oil ever 3,000 miles or as recommended in your vehicle's owner's manual. 

• What does the "check engine" or "service engine soon" light mean?

There are many sensors and computerized components that manage your vehicle's engine performance and emissions.  When on of these fails, the "check engine" light comes on.   Although your car may seem to be running fine, it is important to have the issue addressed to possibly prevent long term damage or problems.

• What should I do when my car starts to overheat?

This is a serious problem.   If you car overheats for too long, it can damage your engine.   As soon as possible, find a safe place to pull off the road and shut the engine off!    DO NOT attempt to check the fluid level in the radiator; the hot fluid can cause severe burns.  Recommend that the vehicle be towed to the nearest, trusted auto repair facility.

• When should my car's fuel filter be replaced?

To help ensure dependable, trouble free performance of your vehicle, replace the car's fuel filter approximately every 30,000 miles or as recommended in your vehicle's owner's manual.

• When should I change my spark plugs?

For the best fuel economy and peak engine performance, your plugs should be replaced .   Today's vehicles all have different specifications.  We change the plugs based on manufacturer's mileage recommendations.
